Jamie, Office Manager
Jamie has been part of the team at Crawfordville Animal Hospital since 2018. She earned an Associate of Arts degree from Chipola College in 2017. Jamie first worked with animals at the animal shelter in Tallahassee, Florida by volunteering when she was in high school.
Jamie and her fiance, Shane, have several dogs named Goober, Harley, Jasper, Uno, and Solo, and a horse named Argo. When she is not working, Jamie enjoys horseback riding, hunting, fishing, spending time with family, going to the beach, and Florida State University sports. A fun fact about Jamie is that she played in and was on a team that won a Junior College Softball National Championship.
Caitlyn, Head Veterinary Technician
Caitlyn became a member of the Crawfordville Animal Hospital family in 2019. She attended Wakulla High School and earned her GED, and received an A.A. degree from Tallahassee Community College in 2020. Caitlyn’s experience with animals includes volunteering at the Wakulla Animal Shelter.
Caitlyn’s family includes her parents, Melissa and Michael, and her sister, Haleigh. Her pet family consists of dogs, Nala, Raven, and Scarlet, and Maverick the cat. Caitlyn loves photography, and enjoys taking her dogs to the beach for walks, fishing, and relaxing at home. Fun facts about Caitlyn are related to her photography hobby. She has taken senior pictures for friends, has photographed buffalo, caribou, bears, and the Old Faithful geyser at Yellowstone National Park, and she will be photographing a wedding in 2022.
Cassidy, Veterinary Technician
Cassidy became a member of the team at Crawfordville Animal Hospital in 2021. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Louisville, and an Associate Degree in Animal Science from Penn Foster College. Cassidy’s prior experience includes working as a veterinary technician for a year in emergency and critical care in Kentucky.
Cassidy has a dog named Aonghas and a cat named Teg. A fun fact about Cassidy is that she has been riding horses since she was four years old.
Tammie, Receptionist
Tammie has been with Crawfordville Animal Hospital since November of 2017. She earned a degree in Political Science/History from Florida State University in 1999. Tammie previously worked for another animal hospital from 2009-2016. .
Tammie and her husband, Steve, have a son, Robert, daughter-in-law, Erika, and grandsons, Kade and Lambert. Their pet family includes dogs, Autumn, Peanut, and Brennan, and a cat named Werekitty. Tammie’s hobbies include fishing, hunting, reading, FSU sports, football, and her retirement jobs as receptionist for animal hospitals. A fun fact about Tammie is that she was born and raised in Wakulla County, and married her high school sweetheart, Steve, in 1979. Steve was the captain of the football team, and Tammie was the captain of the cheerleaders.
Danell, Receptionist/Veterinary Technician
Danell graduated from West Coast Christian School in Crystal River, Florida. She also graduated from Animal Behavior College. Danell volunteered at an animal shelter in Fort Campbell, Kentucky for several years. Additionally, she helped care for the pets that came into the vet’s office in Kentucky. Danell enjoys being around animals all day, and loves it when she can help someone with their pet when they most need it.
Danell has a son named Nathan, a daughter named Novalee, and dogs Blu and Bill. She spends her free time hunting, fishing, paracord crafting, hanging out with family, and going to the beach. A fun fact about Danell is that she loves being outdoors. She loves shark fishing, swimming with sharks, and riding in the woods with her family. As long as she is outside, she is happy.
