Our Staff

Jamie, Office Manager

Jamie has been a member of the staff at Crawfordville Animal Hospital since 2018. Her background includes earning an associate’s degree from Chipola College in 2017 and volunteering at a local animal shelter when she was in high school. Jamie and her husband, Shane, have five dogs named Harley, Jasper, Goober, Uno, and Solo. They also have two horses named Argo and Molly. Jamie loves the outdoors and activities such as hunting, fishing, playing golf, softball, and horseback riding. She is also a big fan of Florida State University sports.


Caitlyn, Lead Technician

Caitlyn has been a team member at Crawfordville Animal Hospital since 2019. She received an associate’s degree from TCC and volunteered at WCAS when she was in high school. Caitlyn has three dogs named Nala, Scarlet, and Raven, and has a cat named Mav. A fun fact about Caitlyn is that she loves photography, and she does some photography as side work.


Leanne, Veterinary Technician

Leanne joined the team at Crawfordville Animal Hospital in 2023. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Florida State University in December of 2022. Her previous experience in the veterinary field includes volunteering as a veterinary technician at a nearby equine hospital and interning at Golden Oaks dairy farm in Illinois. Leanne and her husband, Logan, share a family of children, dogs, chickens, and pigs (her favorite is Pebbles, but don’t tell the other piggies).


Danell, Veterinary Technician

Danell has been with Crawfordville Animal Hospital since 2019. She attended West Coast Christian School in Crystal River, Florida, and graduated from Animal Behavior College. Danell loves working with animals and has had prior experience volunteering at an animal shelter in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Her family includes her son Nathan, and her daughter, Novalee, as well as their pets, Blu the dog, and cats, Beans and Medusa. In her free time, Danell likes to hunt, fish, do paracord crafting, and go mudding. She loves being outdoors with friends and family, riding the woods, and swimming.


Bry, Receptionist/Veterinary Technician

Bry joined the team at Crawfordville Animal Hospital in 2023. She has a son, Caiden, and two daughters named Emma and Elyanah. When she is not working, Bry enjoys fishing, crafting, and spending time with family and friends.


Shelley, Receptionist

Shelley became a member of the staff at Crawfordville Animal Hospital in 2023. Prior to joining the team, she had a career as an ophthalmic technician for people. Shelley was a state licensed, certified, ophthalmic assistant. She also volunteered at several animal shelters which got her interested in the veterinary field upon her retirement. Shelley and her husband, Jeremy, have four sons, Weslie, Coty, Price, and Tad, and three grand babies, Charley Rae, Brooklyn, and Bowman. Their fur children include Jessey, Kobi, Vita, Tbo, and Belle. A fun fact about Shelley is that she was awarded a medal of honor from the state of New York for being the first parent to donate a liver to her child.


Shelby, Receptionist

Shelby became a team member at Crawfordville Animal Hospital in 2023. She is a receptionist with aspirations to become a technician. She earned her high school diploma in December of 2019 after having attended Wakulla High School/Florida Unschoolers. Shelby’s family includes her boyfriend Ralph, parents and six siblings. She has a dog named Maggie and a cat named Maple. Shelby enjoys anything outdoors such as hunting, fishing, camping, and ATVs. Winter is her favorite season.
